"HELP, I NEED NEW HEADSHOTS!"

As every actor knows, your headshot is the first impression you will make on a casting director or talent agent. As such, you want to make sure it will reflect you as a professional while still remaining true to who you are as a person.  In most cases, actors like to go for specific looks; commercial, theatre, and film. To accommodate these different looks and the preferences of you and your agent, I go between two different shooting styles; one being a solid white background, and the other, a straight, natural light look against a natural background.

In the available packages listed, I’ve created a pricing structure for any budget level. I’ve included at least two retouched images for you to use in all packges. Other studios may send you on your way with all your photos from your session and call it a day, which at first sounds like a great value, but it comes with a higher price in the end once you hire a retoucher. Your entire session is still available to you after we shoot, but I feel offering downloads alone would be a disservice to my clients because having even one properly retouched image you can actually use is worth more than a few hundred unrefined photos.

"HOWS IT ALL WORK?"

Come the day of your shoot, be prepared to have a great time.  It’s all about being relaxed and making sure you enjoy the process...that’s the most important thing to assure we’ll get great photos.

Be sure to bring several wardrobe options. Once you arrive, we’ll throw them up on the rack and pick through everything, as well as discuss what roles you’re going for and how you want to portray yourself in your headshots.  If you have an agent, it’s definitely a good idea to discuss this with them prior to your session.

To ensure we’re going in the right direction while we’re shooting, I'll check in with you periodically by showing you images to get your feedback and make sure you're happy. After your shoot, you’ll be emailed a Dropbox link you can share with your agent, family, and friends to view proofs and make your selections for retouching!

*when making retouching selections from dropbox, please make sure you reference the file number on the lower lefthand corner (IMG_1234.jpg) rather than the sequence number directly below the images (123/200).
